Frequently Asked Questions

I've never done yoga before - will I be ok?

Yes.  Your instructor, Emma Polette, specialises in teaching beginners yoga.  She will guide you from the easiest version of a pose right through to more advanced options when you are ready

What type of yoga is is in the course?

Emma is certified in Vinyasa Flow and Core Yoga which combines Pilates and Vinyasa Yoga.  Emma is registered with Fitness Australia and gained her yoga certifications through Yoga Trinity.

Will I need to buy anything special to do the course?

Emma recommends a good quality yoga mat (she buys hers from Stretch Now).  Other items may be required but won’t cost more than $50 to purchase and often other household items can be used instead.

Is there anyone that this course is not suited to?

If you are currently pregnant, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, an acute joint or muscle injury, or have not got clearance from your doctor to exercise – then this program is not for you at this time.

If you have not exercised in a while please get clearance from your general practitioner.
