I have been watching a lot of the show Grace & Frankie on Netflix. Have you seen it? It stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin and it’s great to see some older women on TV. I actually binge watched the whole series (13 episodes) in about two days – please keep in mind that they are only 25 minute eps!
So, I thought, instead of feeling guilty, I’d use the show as inspiration for my latest workout video.
And who better to inspire a workout video than the queen herself – Jane Fonda!
This 10 minute workout is all about the legs. It’s 3 simple exercises that are suitable for just about anyone (including people with dodgy knees).
It’s a perfect compliment to last month’s upper body workout.
What you will need
- A step & a mat (and some water and a towel)
- A 10 minute timer
- Some music that will keep you motivated (optional but much more fun)
What you will be doing
This workout is an AMRAP (as many rounds as possible). You have 3 exercises (step ups, bridges & Jane Fonda inspired lying side leg lifts). You do 10 reps of each exercise and continue for 10 minutes taking breaks as needed. Then leave time for a short stretch afterwards.
All the details are in the video. Have fun and tell me when you’ve done it in the comments section below!
AND – it’s almost that time again. My monthly FREE online retreat for busy is coming up soon.
In this month’s 90 minute session we will take some time out for gentle yoga, meditation and explore the power of “acting as if” to realise your dreams.
When: Sunday 23rd April 2017 at 1pm Western Australian Time (check here for your timezone). And don’t worry if you are too busy to come to the session live, register anyway and you will receive a recording so you can recreate your special retreat at a time that suits you.
