Look, I’m not sure if exercising like a millionaire is actually important to you, but when I asked the people in my Facebook group about what holds them back from having a regular exercise routine, one of the answers was MONEY!  And I am determined to show you that money does not need to be a factor, and it fact it should never be an excuse for not exercising.

Plus, the reason why you should want to exercise like a millionaire is that most people who are successful do have a daily exercise routine (think ex-Prime Minister John Howard striding around his harbour side residence, or all of the times you’ve seen one of the Kardashians papped in their workout gear).  Needless to say, if you want a healthy, happy (& wealthy) life, regular exercise is key!

Here are 3 ways to have a regular exercise regimen that won’t break the bank:

1. Free

Guess what?  Your body is absolutely free!  (Although I know it is priceless.)  You can do so many exercises for absolutely no cost at all!  Walking, running, swimming at the ocean plus a whole range of body weight exercises.

A completely free, full body routine is the 7 Minute Workout.  Although this is not really recommended for absolute beginners, you can start learning these exercises anytime and work up to the recommended intensity level.  (And yep, this one saves money and TIME.  Tick, tick).

2. Under $50

You can up the ante by adding some weight based equipment into your routine.  Kmart has a fantastic range of fitness equipment such as kettle bells, dumb bells, barbells, punching bags. medicine balls and balance boards all for under $50 a pop.

Having a little area to call your own personal gym can be very motivating and really doesn’t need to cost a lot of money.

3. Under $100

If you can afford a little bit more as an initial outlay, I highly recommend having a few sessions with a personal trainer.  You will learn a lot in just 2 or 3 sessions about which exercises you like and what pushes you the right way.  And you can ask your trainer to customise a workout that suits your time frame and body.
