This past week has been huge! I have been appointed WA state Trainer Manager for Booty Camp Australia. This is really fantastic because it is exactly the type of training I want to conduct once I get my qualifications and I LOVE the concept. It’s also a massive reinforcement of my strong work ethic. As much as I found the Fast Moving Consumer Goods world to be draining, I did my best to stay as professional as possible at all times. This state manager role has come from a colleague at a company I used to work for. She knows I work hard and has remembered, and her company hired me!
Today I aced my second exam for my health coaching course. This means that I have “completed sufficient course requirements to work with clients professionally.” Here is a pic of me with my certificate from the school and my beloved cookbooks are behind me!
So, I am officially in business! I even got an ABN today from the Tax Office. To reinforce this “being in business” concept, I had my first session with a paying client on Tuesday night. A dear friend has been my guinea pig for the last few months and I owe a huge debt to her for letting me practice on her. That has given me the confidence to take on someone for real. My new client & I really enjoyed our first session and I can’t wait for more.
So, what do I do? I am a health coach. I work with individual clients over a 6 month period to help them achieve their health & wellness (and sometimes life) goals. I wish I had one of me while I was living the crazy corporate life in Sydney! When you think about it, how often do you get a chance to sit down one-on-one with someone and work out your goals and then have that person help you stay accountable? It’s pretty rare! I am so passionate about this work and I can’t wait to share it with the world in what ever way I can!
Both of my clients are based in Sydney, so I am accessible from anywhere by phone, email & Skype and of course face-to-face for locals. If you know anyone that might need a health coach please ask them to go to my business website where they can contact me for a free 50 minute health history session.
So, this is obviously a break in transmission of my normal posts, but I thought it was really important to update my dear readers on my progress and put myself out there at the same time!
