Things are not always perfect in my kitchen. This morning I was going to be the best sister in the world and make Dave some pancakes. Instead, this happened


I don’t understand the science behind pancakes so I realise now I’m not ready to wing-it without a recipe. These ones just wouldn’t get solid. Does anyone have any ideas what I did wrong?

As Dave said, if I leave the batter in the pan long enough it might just harden. After a week…

Dave became the best brother (well younger brother, I’ve got to be careful here. Except when was the last time the others cooked me breakfast??!) when he saved the day with bacon. Yum!
