I get it. You’re busy. But if you’re using that as an excuse to not exercise I hope this little routine for the arms will change your mind.
You really can make a difference to your health, happiness and stress levels by taking a few minutes out in your day for a short work-out. It will help to boost your endorphins so you feel good and it will help to strenghten and tone your body.
What you will need
- Some weights (1kg to 5kg depending on your strength. I used 1.5 litre water bottles!)
- A 10 minute timer
- Some music that will keep you motivated (optional but much more fun)
What you will be doing
This workout is an AMRAP (as many rounds as possible). You have 3 exercises (bicep curls, tricep kickbacks and shoulder presses). You do 10 reps of each exercise and continue for 10 minutes taking breaks as needed. Then leave time for a short stretch afterwards.
All the details are in the video. Have fun and tell me when you’ve done it in the comments section below!
I filmed this video while on retreat in Bali. I want you to feel as good as I did while I was away. So I have created a free online retreat especially for busy women. In this month’s 90 minute session we will take some time out for gentle yoga, meditation and explore how to really nourish our body and soul with healthy food.
When: Sunday 17th March 2017 at 1pm Western Australian Time (check here for your timezone). And don’t worry if you are too busy to come to the session live, register anyway and you will receive a recording so you can recreate your special retreat at a time that suits you.
